Manoj Chawla

Manoj studied Economics and Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. He is innovative, creative, and very much enjoys learning. He enjoys a challenge, and he believes that the bigger challenge that something holds, the more he will grow and learn from it as well as enjoy it. He enjoys teaching and coaching and has given classes and workshops to thousands.  

Over the past thirty years, he has learned a lot and gained a lot of experience in different fields and businesses including ICI, Diageo, Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, BT, and Accenture, and has worked for clients including GE, British Gas, and Marks & Spencer. Working in different fields and roles has helped Manoj gain a rich business and management perspective. He was given the largest award in BT for his New Idea Innovation at BT. He also mentors start-ups and has launched numerous start-ups and is regularly active in the start-up scene.

Stuart Nelson

Stuart works with organisations to solve problems and develop an organisational Growth Mindset.  Stuart brings over 20 years’ experience managing teams, coaching, training, and consulting, to the analysis and improvement work he carries out.  Using tools from Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking, and techniques such as coaching, mentoring and training, he is in a unique position to guide the person and the process through the change cycle.  Stuart holds 3rd level qualifications in Psychology, Innovation, Lean, and Six Sigma and has researched and published in Leadership, Psychological Safety, and Employee Engagement.  He is an approved provider of the Enterprise Ireland Lean offer.

Diego Dalia

Diego is a designer with a background in Service & Interaction Design. He has lived, studied and worked in Italy, China, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic and, since 2015, has been based in Dublin, where he works at IBM Design as a Service & Interaction Design Lead.  During his career, he has served in a broad range of roles, designing digital products and services in several sectors, including healthcare, human resources, the automotive,  travel & leisure industries. He is passionate about designing interactions, delivering new experiences to users, and developing new systems for products & services.  He holds a Master of Science in Service Design (Politecnico di Milano, Italy), a Master of Science in Design & Innovation (Tongji University – Shanghai, China), and a Professional Doctorate (PdEng) in Interaction Design (Eindhoven University of Technology – Eindhoven, the Netherlands).  He is a passionate ethnographer and he loves travelling. He tries to enrich himself by discovering and learning new things about the places he visits, especially the sociocultural aspects, including music and food.

Since January 2017 he has participated as a keynote and as a guest speaker to few conferences like UX Istanbul, UX Pakistan, UX South Africa and IxDC in China, LavaCon in Dublin, OFFSITE & OFFSET in Dublin, where he presented different talks and delivered Service Design & Design Thinking workshops to Professionals and design students.

He is actively involved in the Irish UX community, where he co-organizes the monthly Dublin UX meet-up. He co-founded the first UX Camp Dublin (http://uxcampdublin.com/), and he is currently working on some new projects, such as the Ireland chapter of the Service Design Network (https://www.service-design-network.org/), and the collective “Design Mentors”, which aims to provide free-of-charge mentoring services to designers.
